Sound the charge for recycling!

This is a nonprofit management organization that, for over 20 years, has been dedicated to the safe collection and recycling of batteries and cells across Canada. With 30,000 drop-off points in Canada and the United States, Call to Recycle adheres to the highest standards of responsible recycling to ensure that batteries and cells are properly treated and recycled.

Why recycle batteries? By giving them a second life, we conserve planetary resources and protect the environment. When buried, a battery releases toxic metals into the soil and waterways. Recycling allows for the creation of new products: silverware, pans, or new batteries. In addition to rechargeable batteries, the organization also collects single-use batteries as well as cell phones.

Do you want to dispose of a product but don’t know where to drop it off?

The “Ça va où” search tool allows you to find, based on the recyclable material and desired city, the drop-off points to bring your items.
